"For the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught." – Proverbs 3:26
Reflection:
Confidence is something many of us struggle with, especially when faced with challenges, uncertainty, or comparison. We may doubt our abilities, our worth, or even God’s plan for our lives. But Proverbs 3:26 reminds us that our confidence does not come from our own strength or accomplishments—it comes from the Lord. He is our foundation, the One who holds us steady when we feel unsure.
Walking in confidence doesn’t mean never feeling afraid or uncertain. It means trusting that God is leading us, even when we can’t see the whole picture. When we root our confidence in Him, we step forward boldly, knowing that He is guiding our every step.
Lesson:
Confidence in God allows us to move beyond fear and self-doubt. Instead of looking to the world for validation, we can stand firm in who God says we are. Spend time today reflecting on the areas where you struggle with confidence and surrender them to God, allowing Him to strengthen and equip you.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I place my confidence in You. When I feel uncertain or afraid, remind me that You are my foundation and strength. Help me to walk boldly in faith, trusting that You have a good plan for my life. Teach me to see myself as You see me—capable, loved, and chosen. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
