But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

The beginning of the year often comes with plans, resolutions, and goals. While planning is good, Jesus reminds us of something even more important—seek God first. When God becomes our priority, everything else finds its proper place.
Seeking God first means inviting Him into every area of life: family, work, health, finances, and decisions. It’s choosing prayer before panic and faith before fear. When we align our hearts with God, He promises to take care of our needs.
This year, let your first pursuit be God’s presence, not perfection.

Lord, help me seek You above all else. Order my priorities according to Your will. Amen.
