“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
Life can feel heavy, especially for moms and those caring for others. Responsibilities pile up, and our hearts can feel burdened. But Jesus offers a different kind of rest—not just physical rest, but a deep, soul-refreshing peace.
Resting in God means surrendering our worries, our “to-do” lists, and even our desire to control everything. It’s coming to Him with honesty and allowing Him to restore our weary souls. When we accept His rest, we gain strength, clarity, and a renewed perspective. This rest is not laziness; it is obedience and trust.
Prayer
Jesus, I bring my burdens to You today. Lift my heavy heart and give me the rest only You can provide. Teach me to trust You with my worries and restore my soul in Your presence. Amen.
