“Then you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.” — Jeremiah 29:12
There are times when we’ll wonder if what we pray is being heard, especially when the answers do not seem immediate. But the Word of God assures us that He indeed hears every time we call on Him. No prayer is too small, too broken, or too silent for Him to hear.
It is not about persuading God to take notice; it is about trusting Him to have been doing that all along. It is not about seeing immediate results; it is about trusting that God is actively working behind the scenes. He is hearing all the prayers that are being uttered as well as those being silently said from our hearts. Every prayer is being held in the faithful presence of God, Who knows what He is doing, and knows what is needed.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for hearing my prayers. Help me trust You even when answers are delayed. Strengthen my faith as I continue to come to You with confidence and hope. Amen.
